The Minnesota Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) is an organization of professionals dedicated to promoting the teaching and learning of meaningful mathematics for all students by supporting educators in their efforts to improve mathematics education.
The Minnesota Science Teachers Association (MnSTA) is a statewide, K-16, professional education organization. The purpose for which MnSTA is organized is summarized in their mission statement: "to stimulate, coordinate and improve science teaching and learning for all." Among their guiding principles are standards-based scientific literacy; respect for diversity and equity; collaboration with like-minded organizations; and stewardship of both financial and environmental resources.
The Minnesota Technology and Engineering Educators Association (MTEEA) is a professional organization dedicated to improving K-16 technology education and engineering experiences for students and teachers in Minnesota. MTEEA is an affiliate of the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association and brings focus to the T and E in STEM while at the same time promoting an integration of science and mathematics in all tech ed/engineering courses.
